According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, The National Conference Sheikh Shahid (The commemoration of Ayatollah Martyr Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri) was held in Qom, with the participation of a group of intellectuals.
On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri, the hanged martyr jurist who was “the manifestation of intellectual and political independence” and also “the symbol for rejection of the global arrogant’ domination” and rejection of foreigners’ dominance, the National Conference of Sheikh Martyr was organized by the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought and cooperation of Contemporary History Research Institute, the Hawza Management Center for men, and also Hawza Management Center for Women was held in Qom with the presence of some experts of Hawza.
In this national conference, the scientific secretary of the conference, Mohammad Sadeq Abulhasani, presented a report on the schedule of the conference. Also, Muhammad Javad Fazel Lankarani, Ayatullah Ali Akbar Rashad and Hojjat ul-Islam Mahdi Ansari presented speeches.
In this conference also, the book of Sheikh Shahid; Jurist of Tehran, the Watch of Iran, was unveiled.
The conference was broadcasted live on the Qom provincial TV channel (Sima-ye Noor channel) and the Qur’an and Ma’aref TV channel.
