Hojjat-ul-Islam Khosrowpanah, A Highly Cited Iranian Researcher in Humanities

According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, Hojjat-ul-Islam Dr. Abdul Hossein Khosrowpanah, the faculty member of the philosophy department of the institute, has been included in the list of most cited Iranian researchers in the humanities (according to the announcement of the Islamic World Science Citation Center, ISC).

According to the report, highly cited researchers were introduced in a period of 10 years. The analyzation begins by identifying a list of the most cited authors in each field, using software methods. In the next step, disambiguation and homogenization are done, which leads to the identification of related people with the same name or the same people with different names. Researchers in each field are sorted according to the number of citations they have received, and then highly cited researchers are considered as scientific elites in the field of humanities, social sciences, and art based on the citation contexts.

The Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), relying on its information sources and databases, annually identifies highly cited researchers in the humanities, social sciences, and arts. it should be mentioned that the criterion for selecting these researchers is the number of citations made to their scientific productions. Hojjat-ul-Islam Dr. Abdul Hossein Khosrowpanah from the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought is present in this list.
