According to the Department of Public Relations of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad released a condolence message after the martyrdom of the general Haj Qasem Soleimani. Ayatollah Rashad did emphasized in this message that the Bloodthirsty, fraudulent USA has smeared its dirty hand with the pure blood of the great commander and hero of the Great Front of Resistance, the conqueror of Syria and Iraq, and his companion Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes.  

He added: “But it is a vicious fantasy for this malicious hell to imagine that by murdering the men of God, the front of truth will be weakened and the troops of allah will stop; never and never.”

Ayatollah Rashad also noted that: “Although the martyrdom of the honourable commander of the proud Quds Force is bitter and difficult for the Islamic Ummah, the people of the region, the Resistance Front and the Iranian nation, the day of vengeance for the wicked America and its partners will be much more bitter; ‘And those who oppress will soon know to what place they will return’ (Shoara, 227)
