According to the Public Relations and Information of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, the ceremony to honor the top researchers of Qom Province was held on Tuesday, December 20th of 2024, at Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Hall of Qom University. The event was attended by the Mayor of Qom, the Deputy for Research of the Religious Seminary, the President of Qom University, as well as scientific and executive figures and researchers from the province.
In this ceremony, 10 faculty members were honored as top researchers, 4 seminary researchers, 5 outstanding students, 6 top technologists in the province, 4 industrialists, 11 exemplary employees, 3 exemplary teachers from the Education Department in the province, 3 outstanding students, and 1 independent researcher were recognized. In this context, Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Seyed Hossein Mirmoezzi, a faculty member of the Islamic Economics group at the Islamic Systems Research Institute of IICT, was introduced as the top seminary researcher of Qom Province, and he was honored and appreciated.
It is worth mentioning that the Deputy for Research of the Religious Seminaries introduces a number of researchers and seminary scholars to this festival every year in order to support research within the seminary.
