Incidents can be analyzed from various perspectives. It is self-evident that no natural disaster can be attributed solely to a single cause. Many such events are likely influenced, directly or indirectly, by human factors. However, the coincidence of certain events with human objectives may serve as a clue or evidence to justify evaluations, even if only at a hypothetical level. For instance, in the case of Gaza and the southern suburb of Beirut, the enemy, led by the United States, sought to weaken the Islamic resistance front and achieved certain successes.
Faced with these painful scenes, including the martyrdom of innocent people—children, women, civilians, and even hospital patients—some lamented the silence of Islamic leaders and governments. Others questioned God’s apparent absence, asking, “Why doesn’t God intervene?” Many turned to divine mercy, crying out, “O Lord, O Lord!” Sadly and painfully, holding leaders and officials accountable lies beyond the capability of thinkers and writers. Yet, perhaps the tragic fire in Los Angeles, USA, may be viewed as a response from Almighty God to those questioning His absence and as an answer to the cries of oppressed children and victims across the world.
The divine law and tradition dictate that God humiliates all disbelievers—those of the past, present, and future—and reveals what they conceal (Surah Al-Tawbah 9:2):
سِيحُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللّهِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ مُخْزِي الْكَافِرِينَ
“So travel freely in the land for four months, but know that you cannot escape from Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.”
The camp of disbelief, despite all its efforts and victories, with its selfishness akin to that of Qarun and Pharaoh, has exerted great effort to conceal its shortcomings. However, not long after, Almighty God exposed their weakness and humiliation.
Indeed, just as the path of the faithful leads to growth and victory, the path of the antagonists and disbelievers is doomed to decline and destruction. Any movement that opposes the revolutionary trajectory of divine messengers is destined for failure (Surah Al-Mujadila 58:5):
“Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be subdued, just as those before them were subdued…”
Finally, the author expresses solidarity with the victims of this disaster, many of whom may themselves be innocent individuals trapped under the dominance of the camp of disbelief, oppression, and global tyranny. He conveys deep sorrow for the material and spiritual losses they have suffered.
