According to the Public Relations Office of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Malekzadeh, a faculty member of the Institute’s Politics Department, stated in an interview with Rasa News Agency that the temporary ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist occupying regime is a significant achievement for Hezbollah.
He emphasized:
“Before anything else, we must underline that this ceasefire represents a major victory for Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
Dr. Malekzadeh explained:
“After the explosion of the pagers in Lebanon and the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s leaders, the Zionist regime believed that Hezbollah was finished and that it could gain an advantage by attacking Lebanon. However, Hezbollah has consistently emerged stronger with each passing day, and the enemies’ plans have not materialized.”
He further elaborated:
“The ceasefire in Lebanon demonstrates coordination between the United States and Israel. This ceasefire, in many respects, benefits the Resistance Front and Hezbollah. While the Zionist regime faces no issues securing weaponry through U.S. support, the ceasefire offers an excellent opportunity for Hezbollah and its fighters to regroup and strengthen their forces.”
Dr. Malekzadeh underscored Hezbollah’s critical role:
“The Lebanese army cannot independently ensure the country’s security, making Hezbollah a crucial player in maintaining Lebanon’s security and sovereignty. The Lebanese people trust Hezbollah because it continues to hold a special place in their hearts, and it will remain so.”
He also addressed the internal opposition within the Zionist regime against the ceasefire with Lebanon, noting:
“This opposition reflects the complete political and military collapse of the Zionist regime. They have lost the capacity to govern the occupied territories.”
Dr. Malekzadeh concluded:
“The internal situation of the Zionist regime is far more critical than ever before. God willing, we will witness the ultimate disintegration of the Zionist regime and the victory of the Resistance Front.”
