According to the Public Relations of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, in its 904th session on 20-06-1403 (September 10, 2024), upon the proposal of the Board of Trustees of the Institute, reviewed the matter of renewing Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad’s presidency over this Institute, and his presidency was approved for another three-year term.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the statute of the Research Institute, the selection of the president for a specified three-year term is one of the responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, and this process becomes official after being approved in the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and being communicated by the President.
It should be noted that the Research Institute for Culture and Islamic Thought was established in 1373 (1994), by the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may God protect him) and through the efforts of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad, and it operates in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Research, Science, and Technology.
