IICT’s Works Among Finalists for the Golden Pen Literary Award

According to the Public Relations Department of IICT, the Secretariat of the Golden Pen Festival has announced the books that have reached the final stage in the “literary criticism and research” category.

In this event, books published from April 2023 to the end of March 2024 in the festival’s five main categories were reviewed by five judging teams comprising 15 judges.

The Golden Pen Festival, which began in 2004, is one of the oldest non-governmental festivals in the country. It is independent and organized by the inclusive association of revolutionary writers, the “Iranian Writers Association,” and has been held annually, except for two years, since its inception.

Two books from the IICT, “Philosophy of Initial Idea of the Story; Volume One: Nature, Location, Elements” by Dr. Ahmad Shakery, a member of the Institute’s Literature and Thought Department, and “Revolutionary Story in Iran and the World” by Mohammadreza Sarshar, have been nominated for an award at this festival.

The ceremony honoring the winners of the 21st Golden Pen Literary Festival was held on July 3, coinciding with the celebration of National Writers’ Day at the Park Shahr Library, located at Behesht Street, Park entrance number four.
