According to the Public Relations of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Resistance Front, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the faculty members of the Institute issued a statement in response to the call for Jihad by the wise leader of the Ummah.
The text of the statement is as follows:
To the honorable presence of the wise and virtuous Leader, Ayatollah al-Uzma Imam Khamenei, May God extend his noble shade,
We offer our congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the great fighter and insightful revolutionary, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, based on the verse ‘O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to that which gives you life’ (Quran 8:24), has always played a role with a submissive worldview, a sense of duty-bound thinking, and a Basiji spirit in the trench of “Jihad of Clarification” and in intellectual, cultural, and social arenas. Now, in this sensitive and decisive period, the faculty members of the Research Institute, following the command of that great leader and the Wali al-Amr (Guardian of the Islamic Ummah), declare their readiness for any kind of assistance and support to their oppressed yet powerful brothers in Hezbollah, including deployment to the southern front of Lebanon to fight against global arrogance and international Zionism, and to strengthen the Islamic Resistance Front.
