According to the Public Relations department of the Research Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought , the closing ceremony of the 20th National Development Book Festival with the slogan of “the good book, book of the future”, as one of the most important cultural events of the country in the field of children and adolescents, was held on Monday 10th of Bahman, in hall number one of the Tehran Book Garden, with the presence of officials and cultural experts of the country, teachers, students, publishers and selected writers.
In this ceremony, the jury of the department of Social Studies, Dr. Latif Eivazi, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Bagherian, Mohammad Sadeghian, Ali Akbar Nasekhian and Ms. Seyedah Somia Tabatabai, recognized and nominated the book of “An Introduction on the Cultural Thought of Ayatollah Khamenei”, by Mehdi Jamshidi , a member of the academic staff of the Cultural Studies part of the department of Culture and Social Studies of the Research Institute, as a work worthy of appreciation in the National Development Book Festival in the Social Studies Department .
The author of the book “Cultural Thought of Ayatollah Khamenei: The first analytical and systematic account of the cultural stance of the leader of the revolution after six years”, has been able to collect Ayatollah Khamenei’s cultural thought in the form of a “scientific” and “documented” research, and to provide an “analytical” and a “strategic” narration on that, so that:
– An “intellectual system” has been designed, which includes diverse and intertwined cultural elements and layers,
– The reader gets to know both the “cognitive and intellectual infrastructures” of Ayatollah Khamenei’s cultural thought and its “objective examples”;
– It is narrated in a framework that includes a set of cultural “recommendations” and “advices”.
– After reading it, the reader can get an “accurate” image “full of details”;
– It is not a pure collection, but also includes “description” and “analysis”;
– Its literature is “argumentative” and “intersubjective”;
– The work is directed towards “thinking” and turning “cultural sayings” into “cultural thoughts”;
– “structural” aspects are neglected, and issues like that of “cultural systematization” have been considered cruicial;
It covers the cultural views of Ayatollah Khamenei during fifty years – that is, from the fifties to the year 1400;
The book “An introduction to the cultural thought of Ayatollah Khamenei” by Mr Mahdi Jamshidi, is now published for the third time, at the price of 90,000 Tomans .
